Golden Rules After LAP-BAND®
(Key behavioral changes for success)
- Eat only 3 meals per day
- Eat slowly and chew thoroughly ( 15 to 20x per bite)
- Stop eating as soon as you feel full
- Do not drink while you are eating
- No between meal snacks
- Eat only good quality food
- Avoid fibrous food
- Drink enough fluids during the day (not at meal time)
- Drink only low cal liquids
- Exercise at least 30 minutes a day
