Facilities
Dr. Fusco evaluates patients by appointment in MIMA's Gateway Drive office building in Melbourne Florida.
Although some minor procedures are done in the office, the majority are performed at one of the facilities listed below. When your surgery is scheduled you will be given full instructions on how to access these facilities.
MIMA Gateway Drive Medical Office Building

Dr. Fusco's office is located on the second floor of MIMA's gateway office building. For your convenience the office building also includes a variety of lab and radiography services, a pharmacy, food, and is the location of the MIMA now walk in clinic which is open seven days a week. Band adjustments are done on in the radiology department on the first floor.

LifeShape Fitness Center

LifeShape Fitness Center is a private fitness studio that supports LifeShape's mission as a full service multidisciplinary weight loss program. The fitness center also serves as a hub for the MIMA employee wellness program. Many of our patient information seminars are held in the lobby of the fitness center.

MSDS is a free-standing outpatient surgery center. The majority of our Lap-Band, pleated band, and gastric plication surgeries are performed at the surgery center.

A portion of our patients will be required to be observed overnight for issues related to sleep apnea. For those patients that require this, arrangements will be made for an overnight stay at Life Care Center.
